My early 2019 macbook pro 13 has died unexpectedly on me. Its the 2 ports starting version. It refused to turn on so took it to apple genius who had a look and said looks like logic board need replacement so ordered a new one there and said could take a few days. Then i get a call from apple a few days ago that’s it’s definitely the logic board and i will lose all my data and there is no way to recover it and said it will be ready next day. Didnt get any call the next day so chase with apple who are now saying that when they ran the tests webcam also failed so they need to replace the whole display and waiting for the parts to come in...

I’m just a bit surprised that a new couple of months old laptop can have these issues ive not even been using it much.

is there anyway to recover my data from the faulty logic bord?

"is there anyway to recover my data from the faulty logic bord?"
Not unless you have a backup setup to external drives or the cloud. I believe the drive is soldered to the logic board.

No real way to recover the data. It is encrypted. Keeping good backup is really are requirement on these machines.

Without a backup, your personal data will be gone.

This is why... one keeps a backup.

Go forth from this day, and learn.
