OK, this is strange, I checked most of the US trying to buy a stock 2019 13" or 15"model online and no one is showing stock. All show Monday as earliest date to pick up in store.
All of the new 13" and 15" MBPs are showing availability in stores for Monday - weird. This includes all stores within 200 miles of me which includes quite a few large metros, including Chicago and Minneapolis.Must be selling well.
I live in Indianapolis and no store within 200 miles has it ( about 10 of them)
I disagree, completely I checked the University store here in Seattle and yep, out until next week all models, very odd. I was in there the other day, and they were honestly selling MacBook Pros like hotcakes.... I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like it..... graduation perhaps??Not by me in California. Go and pick them up today, or have it delivered to your home for free on Monday, or for a fee tomorrow. I suspect it is a regional warehouse/store limitation.
And we are in the doldrums of summer when people are focused on vacations and other things, rather than buying a computer. Better for Apple margins to have a little wait than have inventory that is not moving. Especially if those 6 newly registered models are going to start showing up by the end of the year.

yeah, graduation, people going on vacations (they don't want to bring a laptop actually....), pre-college, back to school, professionals, etc... and its a great computer! IMO....Graduation is 1 possibility that's very valid
new Mac hardware is another.. notice the filing stated the macs would be running Mojave
