Hi there — Recent owner of a new 16" MBP. I've been using the device for 2-3 months and recently have noticed that there's a creeking/popping sound every so often coming from inside the case. I do not think it's coming from the screen; I feel/hear it coming from under the keyboard. It is not the popping sound some people have mentioned with regard to the speakers. Anyone else notice this on their machine? Any advice on how to resolve this? Thanks!

Yes, I noticed that, too. I couldn't say for sure why it happens, but I suspect it has to do with the force touch mechanism, as the pop feels somewhat similar to a force touch click, and I think the sound comes from around that area. But that's just my perception. I thought my Macbook might have come faulty, as I also get stuttering problems with the pointer and keyboard input :(

Good to know. It seemed weird to me as a I use a 2014 15” MBP at work and never noticed that problem. My 16” is my first personal MacBook
