got these 3 updates on my iMac today, am on 2020-005 but after the issues with that one I'm a bit gun-shy...
Has anyone installed yet? Issues?

Installed those updates last night, install went fast and easy and so far everything seems to be working well.
Also noted that App memory as reported by Activity monitor is about 1 third of what is was before the upgrade.😋

In what order did you install them? If it matters?

Apple seems to do it their own way regardless. I tried to install the SU2020-006 first and unchecked the Safari update. Needless to say that I was very surprised when I found that Safari update was downloaded and installed together with the SU.

i updated yesterday & since then have used Macbook Pro (Early 2015) for few hours. All went well & have not encountered any issue till now.

That's good to know, thanks guys for your feedback! Looks like everything is fine with that new Safari and Sec. updates.

I still have problems even after updating to Safari 14.0.1 on my 15" MacBook Pro 2016. Safari still demands (for some strange reason) High power GPU, i.e. my dedicated AMD graphics chip. This problem persists from the 14.0 safari release. This really annoys me because the battery drain is quite significant. Even Chrome doesn't require dedicated GPU...

Also installed today - all good and dandy. I've also got my first notification begging to install Big Sur, which - although promptly dismissed - sounds like a welcome improvement over the Catalina notifications 😁

I already installed as well and so far I haven't seen any problems. The recurring issue I had with all of the previous five Mojave security updates, which would reset my main user's password, did not happen this time!

Thanks all for your feedback ...I will go and update some time today or tomorrow and will report back here ...
And yes, Big Sur is also available to update :) I'm running it on my MBP since the public beta came out no issues, but planning to keep my iMac on Mojave as I have a 32bit old game that I occasionally play, and I really don't like what apple did with iTunes ...

I really don't like what apple did with iTunes
This was the main reason that withheld me from upgrading to Catalina when it first came out, but then all the bugs and crashes started to pour in. I really want to update to Catalina now since I'm bored on mojave.

Big Sur has been running fine on my MBP. It's primary use is for managing my photos while traveling (the new photos that I'm taking only, not my entire library) so I have LR classic and Photoshop and those are running fine, plus MS office which also works fine, beyond that only apps that come with the OS. I like it much better than Catalina, but you might of course feel different with the first release ...

I'm not touching theses 3 updates for the time being as i have had so much trouble with my Mac Mini 2018 randomly rebooting after the 2020-004 update. This is on you Apple for screwing up my mac with a problematic previous update

They probably are not native English speakers and meant they have not encountered any issues to date.
I confirm, I'm not a native English speaker too, and to me the sentence sounds like 'there is no issue to date'. But thanks guys, I learnt something today and increased my English skills ;)

I work as an expat and come across this "incorrect" use of "till now" or "until now" regularly and have since learnt that what the user invariably means is "so far" or "to date".

The word "till" signifies a change in the condition. That is, what he "actually" wrote was that as from "now", he started having an issue.

How come I don't see this update on either of my 2 Macs (MacBook Pro 2015, MacBook Air 2014)?

I think it depends on what version of Mojave you're running. I have a mac running 10.14.6 build 18G6020, the one prior to update 2020-05 and it only lists the 2020-05 update. On another machine that has had the 2020-05 update the 2020-06 update is listed as available. So I guess you have to first install 2020-05, then 2020-06.

Does anyone know if there is a reason why the 2020--006 security update is not on the support.apple.com/downloads site? I prefer to keep a proper downloaded copy in case I need to reinstall later. Or finally sort out my rarely used mac mini.

When using prepositions think of "till" and "until" as being exclusive of the following noun, i.e. they refer to what came before it, and "to" as being inclusive of it.

"until now" would imply that the "until" (representing the past) and "now" (the present) refer to separate periods of time. That is that "until now" is a different period of time, excluding now.

"to date," though, would imply that the "to" (the past) and "date" (the present) refer to the same period of time. That is "to date" is the same period of time which included now.

I hope that makes sense? There are alway exceptions too, but context can be such an important feature of English that, at least to me, you were perfectly understandable to native speakers.

Had you meant that you were now having problems you would have said something about them. So without that explicit context it makes more sense to interpret that you meant 'to date" rather than meaning you were now having problems.

So it is not something you need to be concerned about as you will almost alway be easily understood. I think the problem was that avz is probably also not a native English speaker, so it was the extra translation that caused the confusion.

Both are running 10.14.6 build 18G103. The Pro has the 2020-004 update installed but the Air has the 2020-005. So maybe it's the build number as you suggest and not the already installed updates.

General consensus is that the 006 update is safe to install?

edit: Update went fine, noticing that a bit more memory and CPU usage at idle but hoping that is temporary.
