Long time lurker, first time poster.

im in a situation where I'm needing to upgrade my laptop. My wife will inherit my 2015 MBP after I get a new battery. I'm liking the idea of the MBP 2020 13", have their been any issues with them? I haven't heard a peep from Macrumors.

and while I like the news of the M1 MacBooks, I don't do first gen tech. That and I need ONE program from windows.

Thoughts? Insights? Comments from owners of the 2020 MacBook Pro 13" people?

I went from a 2012 15" MBP to a 2018 13" MBP and love it. The only issue I've had is the butterfly keyboard but that has been replaced under the repair program. The 2020 model has a much improved "magic" keyboard.

I have a 2020 13" i5 MBP. I've had it only a couple months, but I have no issues to report. Does exactly what I need it to do. I'd certainly recommend it, especially if you're in the market. Plus, you can find some good deals on Intel MBP's especially with the release of the M1 MBP's.

That's the answer I wanted. However...

do you push the system at all? I'm sorry if that sounds condescending. I just don't know your use case. im currently in a 3rd world country and it's gets a little warm sometimes, just curious if that might be an issue. The 2015 was a great machine. Barely got warm.
