2020 MBP 10th gen gets Warm/Hot on bottom

I noticed the 2020 10th gets really warm/hot on the bottom.. All I was doing was surfing the Internet with Safari for an hour on my lap and it gets really hot. I think the Indexing stopped already since they had it for over a week.

Nothing is running in the background other than Istat Menu.

Is this normal? Anyone else have this issue?
 
For the 16” it took about two weeks for istat menus to be updated with the new hardware configuration.

What was confusing was that that upgrade was ”silent”, the version number did not update, only the build date changed.

You may want to check with bjango, they were quick to respond.

The app is highly recommended.
 
This is strange.. I turned it off and plugged the power in and turned it back on.. Only logged in, checked 20 min later and it is warm to the touch..

I do NOT hear the fans at all, it is just really really warm on my desk also.

I do see photolibraryd taking 80% CPU usage and com.aplle.photos.image and photoanalystsid taking CPU usage..

Is this normal?
