So on Amazon in the UK, the 2020 MBP 13-inch (10th gen, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Storage) is now available for £1375, which is a saving of £424 from its original price of £1799! It's an incredible deal but has anyone bought a MBP from Amazon before? Are there any risks for doing so?

I bought my MBP from Amazon back in 2015. If there are drawbacks I'm not aware of them. You still get Apple support if needed, and in my experience of Amazon UK they are very good if you need to return a product, just a matter of completing a web form and printing a label. I also bought two iPad Minis for my grandchildren and when one developed a screen fault it was replaced without drama. More recently I bought my iPhone from them, no qualms at all.
The 2015 MBP has had no issues, it's still like new and still doing all I want it do. That's what we want from an Apple product, isn't it?

That one is the 1.4ghz 8th gen one!

No it's not! Although that one is also priced at £1375, the 10th gen is the same price lol.

Not sure if that is a mistake or not but I see it too, bargain to be honest, grab it if you need one, that is a ridiculously good price.

Still shows the same low price for me.

Actually, I don't think this is an error, its only the silver version, which Apple are struggling to shift, you can't get the Space Grey at that price, cancelled my order :)

That specific link still shows it, but if you manually search Amazon it has been fixed, which means they won't honour the price. When I searched manually it was still low. Been here before and ordered from a non-corrected link on Amazon and they will not honour.

Edit - Something is going on, the reduced price is back again, well, it won't last so get it if you want it.

Glad you got yours. I’m not in the market for one though. But I did check to see if they’ve got any cheeky prices on the 16 inch.

Ive also ordered this deal . Ive bagged it on delayed delivery just to get it and work out if its a keeper before dispatch. Did read up on i10 having overheating problems?

It's now showing on Amazon that it isn't currently available so this deal is probably over.

Mine arrived this morning. Haven't opened it yet, might be a dumb question but how do I find out it is actually brand new? I read on Amazon reviews people suspecting they've been sent a returned Mac.

It should be wrapped in cellophane . Also the outer box is also Apple sealed ? Not cellophane obviously . Best way to check is watch YouTube unboxings

the one i got from amazon came in a seperate brown box which had the tell tail apple opening slit (the one you pull) should be really easy to tell from that if its new or a return.

I bought a 16” MBP from them but was suspicious about the packaging. It turned out it was a refurb. Amazon admitted it. There was nothing wrong with the machine but I thought it was very naughty of Amazon to advertise it as “new”.

I’ll also point out that it took Amazon over a month to refund me. Something somewhere is not right with them selling MBP’s.

I'm waiting on mine to arrive. Upgrading from a 12" macbook which has been my main machine for a while.

How's the Intel iris plus graphics? I want to run 2 external 4k monitors at their native resolution without scaling and still have the inbuilt screen in use so basically having 3 screens.

Anyone know if this is possible or will it struggle pushing so many pixels?

Thanks
