iPad Pro 2021 12.9” iPad Pro Battery Drain?

I just got a 2021 12.9” iPad Pro and in less than 30 minutes it’s drained about 11%. Is this normal? My Air 4 didn’t have this kind of battery drain. All I’ve been doing is browsing and listening to Spotify, so I don’t know what the problem is.

Are you using the Magic Keyboard? I’ve stopped using mine recently and have experienced a significant improvement in battery life.

You also may need to allow your iPad to go through few charge cycles to calibrate itself. This is normal behaviour. If you are restoring from a backup, this could also cause some battery drain for a day or two until it is complete.
