Here, where else?
I've had this issue since 2.5 years back where my 16" 2021 MBP seems to randomly stop and start charging while it's sleeping. And when I check the battery history, it shows a very brief dent at a random point of the day. I always keep it plugged in, but sometimes I open it up and I'm greeted by a significantly dimmed screen with an unplug/plug event in battery history, despite it never physically disconnecting. And it never seems to happen when I actually use it, but I've heard it when it plays the charge dime while I'm in the same room. It also doesn't seem to matter wherever it's at 100% or 80%(desktop mode). And nothing else on the same power strip, outlet or in the room does the same thing... It used to only happen once or twice every 6 months, but it's occurred 3 times in the past week now which concerns me.

What I've tried:
  • Replaced the MagSafe 3 cable
  • Swapped the power strip
  • Cleaned all the potential connections, taken the 140W adapter apart and made sure there's nothing physically wrong with them(to my eyes)
  • Kept everything up-to-date
The only remaining constant is the 140W power brick. But they're quite expensive, and I don't have any other outlet or USB-C cable to try it out with. Is there anything else that I've missed here that I can try before ordering a new one? And I'm guessing there's no known potentially strange software quirk behind this either?
