I highly doubt that. It looks like Apple is currently on a 3-year cycle for the Pro Body (X, XS, 11).

So were the XS, XS Max, 11 Pro and 11 Pro max. So normal behavior to discontinue a device when there is a successor.

Felt great in the hand. Nothing was ever as cheap as the 3G and 3GS in my opinion.

My small hands LOVE my Pro Max and wouldn't even mind if it was bigger!Just because your small hands do not like, doesn't mean Apple has made a mistake.
The 12 Pro Max actually has the same A14 bionic chip as the other iPhone 12 models, but your right about everything else. The camera in particular with its larger Shifting sensor is a real Pro feature and takes the best images of any phone right now.
To me, what’s funny, if you go back and look at the video from Jonny Ive during the keynote for the 5c talking about and selling the virtues of the plastic iPhones, and then they were pushing those horrid looking cases that tried to make it look like a colored cheese grater. I laughed then. Plastic is light and won’t shatter but every little tiny scratch shows, IMHO
