Coconut battery health 98% OSX battery health 100%. Got apple care and the battery is holding up well so not going to complain :)

Similar for Coconut Battery. Design capacity is shown as 8694, but Apple says 100%. I think the readings are off for Coconut. App requires an update.

Yes mine is saying designed 8694mAh but my full change is showing 8542mAh and my battery health is 98.7% today.

I think you're right about coconut battery needing to be updated. As I said it not a problem for me as I'm happy with the machine, just hoping they fix the memory leak error soon. On a side note does anyone know if you can install Big Sur on a 2021 MPB ?

This is exactly what Coconut is showing for me. Exactly this.

Yes, I am enjoying this computer. Feels like the real iterative upgrade to the 2011 MBP I had. Well, 2012-2015 more like, but I bought in 2011 then 2016. 2016 was disastrous. This 2021 computer - this I love. Just like its 15.4 inch brethren from 10 years ago.

Yeah I came from a 2014 MPB i7 and this thing is amazing especially the screen ??

You can create a USB installer for the same. If it boots, if it proceeds to install, then it can be said reasonably that it will work just fine.

However, I am not sure of it. When I got my 2011 MBP, it came with 10.7 pre-installed and I remember vaguely that people on the internet were (likely) unable to get 10.6 on it. Not sure, so can't be of any real help.

As I said, just create a USB installer, if that works, it should install smoothly and will work, if you want Big Sur instead of Monterey.

Ah the display is great. Finally enjoying a good computing experience once again. I know I will be happy for the duration I keep this computer with me.

On another note, I faced typos on the 2016-2017 keyboards. Not on this one, even though it still sounds and feels slightly like the butterfly keys, even though the mechanism is different, clearly. Like it. I can type just as well as I could on the 2011 MBP and 2017 MBA.

I got 3 when it was brand new. But battery health is 100%, so whatever. Not going to send it back.

when new it was at 4 cycles, battery health is at 96.7% which is strange. I also use Al dente.
