Thanksgiving 2022 came and went. I did a 3.5 mile walk and no badge for me. Guess it is true what they say, Apple can’t create new things like special event badges, new emoji’s, and fix bugs at the same time. 😄

The Thanksgiving day challenge from 2016 (3.1 mile walk) is actually the first limited edition badge shown in my list. Since I’m always off from work, and it’s usually a simple challenge, the Thanksgiving badge is one of the few limited edition badges I usually get.

Yep, first one in mine as well followed by the 2017 New Year's challenge. I don't want to be the "how hard can it be" guy, but I'm guessing they have a whole API setup at Apple HQ for stuff like this. It was a big part of the early ad campaign for the fitness features of the watch. Heck I have them for the CHinese Lunar New Year, Unity Challenge and International Woman's Day.

I guess Thanksgiving no longer ranks? Either that or I guess some accountant thought they were spending too much money handing out all those Thanksgiving "medals". 😂😉
