I think he probably doesn't care much. I don't think a big souped up machine matters to him...someone will chime in with the fact that he wrote his "cancer" letter on a 17" PB.

I would think he has several Macs about the place. Most likely all the latest versions.

I put my vote in for Quad G5 w/ dual (or more) 30" ACD's and at least one 17" MBP.

I doubt it. I'd bet he has a 17'' PowerBook (I wouldn't think he's switched to Intel yet, but I could be wrong), and maybe a 20'' iMac.

Probably some PowerBook and maybe a desktop at the office.
But honestly, what does he need high powered computer for except for email etc. He's too busy running a company to spend time "playing" on a computer.

He probably has one of everything - or at least one of every product from the new range. (MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac - I highly doubt he has a Mini, maybe for the kitchen :p )

Probably a few G5's with 30" ACDs.

And possibly a few unreleased Intels, just to test them out and see what he wants to spring on us next.

And probably a few Video iPods (the 6G ones).

Steve still uses one of the pre-production Lisas.

But only to annoy John Sculley :D

BTW macOSX-tastic, are you at Loughborough Uni? Or maybe the Art College?

An IBM laptop running OPENSTEP, a 17" PowerBook and a Core Duo Mac mini on the TV. Not to mention the iPod HiFi he replaced his entire home stereo system with....

And a 5G iPod in a leather case.

His children have 20" iMacs, his wife uses a 17" Macbook Pro, and Steve utilizes a PM G5 Quad, with dual 30" displays. And an original Macintosh and a NeXT cube for when he feels sentimental. I know.

and how exactly would you know?

He probably has like every Mac is his home, maxed out, and uses a different one for each day of the week. ;)

Thinking about it, I bet Steve uses a four-core MacPro and a Rev B 17" MacBook Pro.

I think he has a 17" PowerBook or MacBook Pro as his main computer, and a 20" iMac at his desk.

I think he's probably pretty modest with his computers. But who knows, he could have a quad G5 with maxed ram and dual 30" displays.
