I've got the following

strange folder on my hardrive.

It's dated changes on a daily basis, it's less then 10kb big, and doesn't seem to do anythng, besides sitting there.

But it's bugging me 🙂

is it save to delete it?

Try running this in a terminal

lsof | grep c6810200fd

Should point you into the right direction on whats creating it. Chances are if you delete it it's just going to be re-created again. from what you said of the timestamp always updating.

If you really wanted you could write a small shell script to run in a loop until there's a value from that command then report it and quit.
