    Hi guys!
    I am using a iPhone 3G.
I just noticed tonight from my itunes that all my 23 apps take up to 2.35gb..
    This is making no sense...
I think something is wrong and no wonder my iphone seems slower than before.

    Anyone help?

What are the individual app sizes? Some apps such as the GPS apps are as much as 1.4GB or even higher.

    It's not unheard of.

Navigate to ~/Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications and look for the apps in question.

Your phone doesn't get slower if its hard drive is full.

Or go to "Applications" in iTunes and right-click then click "Get Info" - the size is in the summary tab.

That is on a Mac. "~" indicates your Home directory, and each word following a "/" is another folder deep.

Do you only download them directly from the iPhone? Do you have them set not to sync?

    1) Go into iTunes preferences and make sure that the Applications library is visible (checked on).

    2) Plug your phone into iTunes and right-click the iPhone icon that shows up on the left under the Library. Tell it to transfer purchases and let it copy the apps to iTunes.

    3) Once it's done copying, right click any app and select 'show in Finder.'

    4) Press COMMAND-2 to turn the window to list view.

    5) Click the top of the "Size" column and it will sort them by size so you can see which ones are taking up the most space.
