iTunes 7 - New Icon

What do you think? It looks horrible in my dock but looks great in the about menu. Please list your objections or appreciation below!

Yeah, the interface is cool. It'll be easier for people to discern what's going on. But that's the point of icons. Ah well!

Mine remained the same old icon in the dock after update Although I like the new look so I will update it in my dock.

A bit glossier, a bit brighter, slightly different size and a different colour. Move along.

I looks like it's designed to match the blue of iDVD and iMovie since it now does movies...

Appart from the different color, it looks more shiny than the previous one. This is in contrast to the changes within iTunes, where most shiny parts of the interface were replace by non-shiney, smooth ones.

I didn't answer because I don't think it's lovely or disgusting. It's fine. It is a little easier find in the dock, though.

If you don't like the new icon just do a simple google search for itunes icons there are tons you can change it to.

I personally don't really like the blue look I think it looks cheap and out of place so I just changed it to something I liked.

Yep...I definitely think that the newest addition to the portrait is the nicest. I was excited to see it!

I preferred the green because there are lots of other bluish things in my dock - Finder, Safari, Mail, QT, Word, Preview. The green made it stand out.

Thanx iMeowbot I was wondering what icons belonged to which verisons. I remember the first one. Didn't like iTunes back then.

I might just design my own...leopard skin, black and white, frills....ugh....

I like it... but then again I never liked the one used by iTunes 6... I even replaced that with a iTunes 1 icon...

If you don't like it, replace it with one of the older ones, or make your own...



You need something like pic2icon or similar (maybe FastIcns, which was posted at Mac OS X downloads yesterday?) to make actual icons from these...
