i kind of like it because it goes well with the aqua theme of icons, it is the same color as mail, safari, idvd, microsoft word, finder icon.. idk, i like the similarity there.

I very much dislikes it!! it has totally blewn the color balance of my dock toward too much blue... 🙁 but I don't dislike it enough to learn how to create or replace icons... 😀

Adium hates iTunes 7!

What do you think? It looks horrible in my dock but looks great in the about menu. Please list your objections or appreciation below!

Well, all the mac icons are blue and silver......its good for me¡¡¡¡

I'm sticking with the green iTunes icon for now. Too much change to handle. 😉 I wish Apple would bring back the iTunes 4 brushed metal theme.

I like the blue, I just dont like how the CD in the background has different colors reflecting. Keep it white.

I don't know. It's just so weird. At first I loved it. Sometimes I see it and I think "yuck" but other times I see it and I think "that's really cool" I have no idea what I really will end up thinking. But regardless, I fear iTunes is showing us the direction of Apples UI. I don't like the new look more than Aqua. The icon is a draw right now.

I love it, but I will probably be reverting back to iTunes 1, because I'm used to it and I prefer the multi-hued, multi-colored Apple logos to the multi-hued, single color Apple logos.

I would rate the logos as follows:
iTunes 1
iTunes 3
iTunes 7
iTunes 2 (iTunes 7 refined 2's to a point that it's actually enjoyable)
iTunes 4-6 -- Green always bothered me.

EDIT: After seeing iMeowbot's avatar, I decided I like the purple more than the blue.

Personally I like the new icon, but since so many people seem to hate it here is a way to change it, and also change the icons of files associated with iTunes back to the iTunes 6 Icons. http://www.uneasysilence.com/archive/2006/09/7565/. This will actually restore the original Icon file not make one out of an image. I haven't tried it, but I assume it would work.
