Another option is if you do have your device delivered, you can have it held at a UPS hub and pick it up when they open in the morning. I’ve did that twice for the X and 12 Pro Max. My iPhone was in my hand at 8am. They recently changed the time at my location so I can’t get it until 10am. UPS deliver in my neighborhood in the evening between 5-9pm.

Remind me what one does when the magic hour hits while one is in a meeting scheduled one year in advance.

Don't know if anyone has answered this yet, but maybe you could take a restroom break...just around the pre-order time.

It worked exactly as you said! Kept trying and it finally let me in at :07 and I was able to get a launch day delivery!! Thank you so much!

Only difference was that I was not able to go back to sleep after 😂. Def gonna need a nap soon!

In case no one has told you yet, you need to find out where your UPS packages are all sorted and where the delivery trucks leave from. It’s usually called the Customer Center. Make sure you pick the right one or your delivery will be delayed by a day
