PS and iMac

I have a 2.8 Ghz 4 GB - RAM 500 GB - HD. It runs PS CS3 super fast in the stock configuration.

In addition to this I made a few adjustments to my preferences in all my CS3 Apps. I run CS3 and I have dedicated a 500 GB 7200 rpm HD as my scratch disk for all. Doing this increased my speed quite a bit more.

I have over 15,000 Raw and various formats Photos. Also I have 128 GB SSD drive attached to the system I am thinking about using it as a scratch drive it is should be faster then the 7200 rpm HD's.

I work with 15-20 Layers in one photo sometimes and having the large scratch disk makes the work flow fine.

You can contact me at ScreamingTut@sbcglobal.net if you need my information I just started a Photo Restoration in my home. I have about 2.228 TB of Hard Drive Space.

I hope this give you some more infomation.

Later,

Kristyanna:)
