24" iMac and HD DVDs

I was wondering if anyone has tried to play a HD DVD (Not Blu-ray). I am not sure if it is possible. Also what is the DPI on the 24" iMac

This is not possible, the iMac has a standard DVD drive, no HD-DVD. I think the DPI is 72?
