24" iMac & Boot Camp: Your Experience

I had it for about a 1 month and it has been my best windows experience in 15years. It installed like a dream but then agian I only use it for access(which I hate with a passion these days) and play a couple games(rome:total war, aoe3, dark messiah). so far it runs at 1920x1200 with no problems and the only hiccup is very common issue(time issue) but adjusts shortly thereafter

The only problem I have is with the graphical driver. It doesn't work fine. Also I see everything on 1920x1200, there are wronk pixels on the screen. For example, I have a single color desktop background (light-blue color), but there seems to be some parts of the desktop (divided on columns) that have different colors than the rest of the desktop, a king of blue+green+red... anyway, is obvious those pixels are not drawed correctly.

I don't want to use it for games, I only need Windows in some cases for working purposes. Does anybody know how to resolve this problem?

Is there any other driver available to use Windows correctly on my Mac?

Invalid pixels for Windows Xp SP2 on iMac 24

just installed an XP service pack 1 64 bit it worked but sluggish.

will look for a XP SP 2

Mine works perfectly. Even the bluetooth keyboard and mouse worked during installation. However, they stopped working once I started installing the drivers from the drivers cd. I had to plug a usb mouse to get them to sync again.

I think it's written somewhere in the installation instruction that Boot Camp is designed only for XP SP2, not SP1.

JUST an FYI i decided to report the problem to the BBB under false advirtising.

Do you want a replacement machine? If you call sales and ask to speak with a supervisor (I spoke with a guy named Mike if that helps) and tell them your situation (had a Windows compatible machine which was returned for a seperate defect and it was replaced with a non-Windows compatible machine) I am sure they would help you out. Although, it has been quite some time since you ordered it but it is still well within the warranty period.
