24" LG Ultrafine being phased out?

Hey what's up guys

Searching to potentially purchase the 24" LG and not a single Apple store has in stock.

Seems strange to me. The ups and downs this monitor has had. Is apple starting to realize its lack of appeal? and pull them?

FWIW; I still think this monitor is extremely overpriced, for all the problems ive read on here about it.

Calling Photographers: Any using this for photo editing? Any better alternative?

TV editor here, no issues with the second gen Ultrafine 4K.
Stock is prolly affected by the chip shortage.

Not against it, never used a matte monitor for photo editing.

The one that the review I linked to talks about I myself use an Asus MG24UQ and a Dell P2415Q and am very satisfied with them but these have both been discontinued.

Really liking it so far!

Still listed in the Apple store. It’s listed as shipping September 8 to 16.

Interesting. I do know that LG has both of the Mac optimized ultrafine displays listed as discontinued. I wonder why Apple still has them listed as available?

For the last few weeks, the estimated delivery date for the LG 24" 4K display I ordered from the Apple Store has remained as 1-9 September. Before that, it did slip back from week to week. We'll see.

I got an email from Apple that the LG Ultrafine 24" 4K display I ordered two weeks ago should be delivered on Aug 31.

Apple stores in my country (Thailand) just restocked them. And some 3rd party shop also restocked them (5 hahaha).

Have been extremely happy with my lightly used one. worth it in the end
