2405FPW with a 9600 PRO

Hi all,

just wondering if the new Dell 24' widescreen LCD monitor would happily display on a 9600 PRO or would i need something more?
and/or have it coupled with my current 17.4' formac ADC display

Any thoughts?

Im not sure how bad it would be on a Mac (but i wouldnt assume much difference) but ive run my 2405 off my laptop with a mobility 9700 (essentially a speed bumped 9600 4 pipes etc) and it runs fine at 1920 x 1200. Some game obviously stuggle, but dektop is fine 🙂

You should be fine, I'm running the little sister display of yours (2005fpw 20.1in) on a radeon 7200le 32mb, and it looks fine even on my aged pc. That card should be more than enough for just running the display.

thanks guys - ill stick in an order once it hits the dell australia website

just having a look at the ATI website, can someone enlighten me on what this means:

"1920 x 1200 flat panel resolution available through use of reduced blanking interval."
