Japanese band Kroi's latest music video for the "Method" single was recorded using 40 iPhone 16 Pro models, according to Apple.

The iPhones were used to capture video from every angle simultaneously, with all of the shots merged into a single 3-minute music video.

Apple shared details on Instagram, and Apple's marketing chief Greg Joswiak also highlighted the video on social media.

The video was directed by Japanese filmmaker Taichi Kimura, who was also recently featured on Apple Music. Apple regularly highlights videos, movies, and TV shows that use the iPhone for its ongoing "Shot on iPhone" series.

Lights are soft, but directional, emphasizing everything iPhone cameras do well, while avoiding lighting that would risk creating artifacts. Most lights overhead. No real reason to use iPhones except for the publicity. But it looks good due to carefully watching these issues.

Maybe this is something to the adderall-chomping TikTok crowd. To me it’s a bit of a mess.
Not sure how others feel about it but to me, these sorts of stories come across like false advertising. They ostensibly propose all the high end things you can do with your iPhone. Is it technically feasible? Sure. Can you even begin to attempt it without tens of thousands of dollars in additional equipment and software? Nope. Could the same be achieved for half as much with some old DSLR’s off eBay? Absolutely.
So at the end of the day it’s just misleading in spirit if not factual in letter, and ultimately a turn off towards the product and the brand.

Haha. What in the world! OF?

I wouldn't be surprised if this was also edited using AI software. When you have every angle and lighting setup ready to go and cut on the beat, it's kind of a no-brainer, literally.

Good to see the iPhone cameras in action. The iPhone cameras have improved a lot in the recent years. Waiting to see the improvements in the upcoming 17 Pro Max.
