I was thinking about keeping my 8G iPhone instead of replacing with new iPhone3G.
An Apple Tech by phone told me today (Monday, June 9) that my warranty expires at the end of this month. If i need to replace the battery after that date it will currently cost $249! Unbelievable!

    I think they we're mistaking...I though it was 49 or 99....not 249(which is more then a new 8GB iPhone)

That can't be right, I was told $79. For $250 they better cuddle with you afterwards.

lol that would make absolutely no sense, just the battery costs more than the new generation phone.

I think it's right, the $249 battery is the package that comes with French wine and a happy ending.
