    Okay, no he didn't.

But from JFK's "Ich bin ein Berliner" speech, 26 years later, 9th November 1989, to today, 25 years from that (November 9th, 2014), we all have to agree that we all became Berliners.

Hard to believe that 25 years ago, the wall that symbolically represented Communism/Socialism from Democracy came down. But you don't have to take my word for it; I'll just piss off everybody and let the 'Hoff tell you all about it! :D

And thus began Europe's ongoing obsession with cheesy electro-pop.

On Sunday there was a fantastic celebration in Berlin.

The thing I remember most about the wall coming down, was in the days afterwards, all around the world’s capital cites the various governments, suddenly realising that they had never planned on this happening.:p

Maybe this is the reason why Meister correlates America and freedom. :p

I was only 6 at the time, but I remember my mum getting me out of bed to watch it on the tele.

I've got a piece of it at home. Berlin's such a fantastic city with such a complex history, but the Berlin Wall coming down was really an amazing pivotal point for it.

Its a shame we brits still feel the need to keep the walls in Northern Ireland though

Isn't that down to the two religious factions helping to divide the nation.

Its a bit more complicated than that, but religion forms part of it.

Does anybody know the email David Hasselhoff has on paypal? I just want to send him a donation of at least $10,000. Ever since he rocked his swimming trunks on Baywatch opening credits my heart melted. He is my hero. I simply cannot live for more than 10 minutes without drooling over one of the many pictures of him that I have framed and hung all around my house.

Yeah, the real reason they opened the Wall was to finally get rid of the Hoff and have him move east.
