256 GB SSD in MBP

How fast is it comared to the intel ones, what brand is it. Summurizing is it any good and how does it compare to the 500 GB/7200 rpm HDD??

MBPs have Toshiba brand SSDs in them with BTO.
Toshibas aren't terrible SSDs and are the mid-range, but an Intel will trump it for sure.
Both SSDs can trash any HDD, regardless of spindle speed. (4-5 times faster in random reads, I think)
