I am thinking about switching back from Pc to the Mac; however I have a Dell 256 SSD P800 made by Samsung and was wondering if it was possible to swap the drive in the current MBP 13" with the 256 Samsung SSD? Would I need to install drivers or would it be as easy as installing the drive in the MBP and running the Snow Leopard disk?

It will work as long as it is a 2.5" SSD. Just wipe it, pop it in, install OS X and you're good to go.

Which once is that? Can you post a link. I am shopping for a 2.5 ssd myself .

Basically all SSDs are laptop 2.5" as that is the standard they are going for. Only SSDs that do not fit the 2.5" standard are huge capacity SSDs (~1TB) that are specially labeled for their size (3.5" or whatever it may be).

I have two 160gb intel 1.8" ssds from a hp laptop.
