256gb SSD, the one we've been waiting for?

I ordered the 17" MBP with 256GB SSD two days ago for my company. I will test the hard drive as soon as I get it (4 or 6 weeks to wait... maybe too long...)

I'd appreciate it if you can run the xbench disk drive test results!

The new 17" Pro's should have arrived for some or are arriving soon. Those who got the ssd, what brand/model is it?

I told them I don't want a dime, just a kickass expensive laptop. So I'm maxing it out (8gb ram, 2.9's etc) because I know I won't be getting another computer for a long time.

lol now I just have to get them to fufill it. You hear: "sure fine, anything, a lot of money? no problem, its graduation" etc. etc. etc. then when it comes time to buy it: "well........I don't know...."
