I just came across this on AliExpress:

Not sure about that 2nd translation though...

Too bad, because I'd love to be able to buy a decent looking 5K 30-32" monitor (preferably 30").

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a 5K 32" panel anywhere. Do they even exist? Even if it were a real product, I think the likely configurations would be 5K 27" and 4K 32". Both of those panel sizes exist.

The "Pro Stand" may be an Apple cosmetic reject with a scuff?
It looks like a somewhat different stand mount.

But like I said, I think it's likely a scam.

"Seller handsome" 😏🤣

The 27" 5k version is listed in this thread branded Kuycon:

The *COMPLETE* list of 27" 5K Displays?

There seem to be solid-back and cheese-grater back versions.
Wowsers. So it's legit! Or at least the product exists. Still not so sure about the seller though.

However, that list contains no 5K 32" panel so if a legit product then it's likely a 4K 32" model as suspected.

This is almost certainly the Kuycon P32U 32" 4K display.

The 27" 5K display is the Kuycon G27X.

There is also the G34W 34" and P40W 40" widescreen (5120x2160) displays.

Yep, not a scam, just two different displays that were previously combined in one listing. A few weeks back, there was a toggle at the top, and you could select the 27" 5K display or the 32" 4K display.

Did you get the height adjustable stand and, if so, how easy is it to use?
Can you control the displays brightness from the control panel and the keyboard?
What computer are you using it with?
Any issues with waking from sleep? I read that it takes awhile for this monitor to wake from sleep in comparison to the ASD.
Couldn't find any reference to the length of the warranty for this product on their website.
How long is the warranty?

I’m using a m2 air 13 8+8/16gb 512SSD connected via type C. I installed monitor control on GitHub and display controls work fine.

Yes I got the adjustable, pretty darn smooth, stops wherever u want it to. I still use both hands, not a finger lift like what I hear about the ASD. Turning is the same as well, it works well although I don’t usually have the need for it.

Waking up takes a few seconds from sleep. Nothing too annoying. They’ve fixed that issue you might be referring to, I saw it on a video as well. I don’t have as ASD to compare tho

Warranty where I am is 3 yrs for the monitor, 1 year for the screen.

Where did you purchase it from? Seems like it sold out on ClickClack

I've edited the title and my prior messages since it's not a scam. Thanks for the info, people.

I just got the G27X. I’m no monitor expert but it is pretty damn nice. I can try to answer some questions y’all might have.
If you don't mind my asking, how much? And how even is the backlighting?

It's US$799 at ClickClack.io. I have no idea how much shipping to Canada is though. Mind you, I don't really need one at the moment since my 3840x2560 28.2" Huawei is fine for my needs at the moment. (Monitor details in my signature. I paid a little over US$500 for it.) I'll reassess next year as I believe more monitor options (from other companies) may become available.

I believe that the 2304x1296 resolution is offered on the Kuycon G27X though, which would be great if true since Apple doesn't offer that option on its own 5K iMacs or Studio Display. I run my Huawei at 2304x1536 and text is decent. Not quite as crisp as my 5K iMac at 2X scaled to 2560x1440, but very good nonetheless.

2304x1296 is straightforwardly available on my 27" iMac Pro-screened DIY 5K display, with its Chinese R1811 video board self-identifying itself as a G1-27 (by its Chinese firmware).
I wonder how much my display shares in common with the Kuycon?
A lot of AliExpress companies seem to be offering 27" 5K panels that are refurbished iMac panels with cracked glass fronts replaced.

It's about 720 USD with shipping included for the one that looks like the XDR and fully adjustable stand. It's about 580USD for the one that looks like the ASD with the fully adjustable stand.

backlighting is very even on my unit, no bleeding. mine was produced in may 2023, and their monitors have been out for a couple years, so i'm sure they've perfected the production process through time. wake time from sleep is about 1-2 second after my laptop screen lights up.

i like the huawei screens too, and it's about $300 here in china now. i just preferred the glass texture and the XDR design over the matte screen.

i attached a resolution list below.

I have the LG Ultrawide 34" 5K/2K display (which I thought was an odd size when I bought it), but to your point - I've never seen a 32" 5K display.

Yeah, I was thinking more in terms of 5K 16:9 displays. The ultra wide 34" 5K displays are the same 163 ppi as the 27" 4K monitors.

A 5K 16:9 32" display would be much higher pixel density at 184 ppi. I think the sweet spot would be 5K 16:9 at about 29-30" though, at 196-203 ppi.
