What kind of cable connection do I need to connect this to my PC, which has a DVI graphics card ?

It is much easier if you have a video card with DisplayPort or even Mini-DisplayPort. The price of the active DVI adapter ranks up there with the price of an entirely new card with those ports! 😱

I believe that Palit was the only vendor that made GTX 460's with DisplayPort. You are already high up on the charts to look for a replacement that is under $250.
