Hey,

I have a 27" Cinema Display that worked perfectly until about a year ago when it started having a weird issue. I was using it with a late 2018 MacMini using a Mini DisplayPort to USB-C adapter. After a while, when I'd turn on the MacMini the display would only show a few lines of pixels at the top and slowly each line of pixels would start to appear. This usually takes about 30 mins for the full screen to appear. Since January i've been using the display with an M1 MacBook Pro and the issue remains. Maybe i'm wrong but I think it takes longer in colder weather. For the last 4 or 5 months when it's been warmer, it only takes about 7-10 mins for the full screen to appear. I've searched online many times to see if anyone has had this issue but i've not found anything. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Thanks

Try a different cable connection... often times it's just a bad cable or port.
I don't really have another way of connecting unfortunately. The Mini DisplayPort to USB-C adapter I have was pretty expensive and it's the only one that seemed to do the job from the reviews on Amazon. I don't have a Mac with the old Mini DisplayPort anymore so I can't try connecting directly without an adapter.

Well, you've most decidedly got your money's worth out of it!
I have but there's nothing on the market I like as much as this. Even if this does completely stop working someday, i'd probably try get another one.
