27" Display question - possible problem?

I really, really didn't want to start off my new iMac experience by complaining, but....

So I get home and setup my new iMac and all seems well. Then I notice that the lower left and right corners both seem "washed out". It's almost as if the back lighting is bleeding around the edges.

Is anyone else seeing this?

if you really cant put up with it go to the Apple Store and see what they think. they might repair or replace it.
