27" iMac drive a Dell u3011 as 2nd display

Thinking about moving from my 2011 MBP to a 2013 27" iMac. Anyone aware of any issues with the iMac driving a Dell u3011 or monitor of that size in general?

I don't see anything demanding about your external display. A 2013 (or even much earlier) iMac can easily drive it.

I run a thirty inch Dell off a 2010 MBP. It should be fine.
