    Nope.

they have them with the 1 gig video, not the 2 gig.

Yeah .. you may get new iMac with i7 in-stores, but NOT with 2Gb VRAM. The only way to get that perfect combination (intel i7 3.4Ghz + 2Gb DDR5 6970) is online-order only .. Sorry

At least that's for now, let's hope things change in the future. I ordered myself one also, still waiting for the shipment though .. This is going to be tough weeks :(

Did you order it with the SSD or did you just upgrade the CPU and GPU?

Just GPU and CPU .. I'm not willing to spend another $600 for the ONLY SSD option, they're too much for me.

If only they put $200 128Gb SSD option like on new MBP, I'd take it happily .. one can only hope :(

If that's the case, shouldn't you be getting it soon? Your last post made it sound like the iMac was going to take a while for it to ship.

Yeah it should, but not in my country. I'm considered lucky enough to get iMac with BTO since my local premium reseller hardly do so. My order will be shipped along with the standard iMacs for their inventory, so it's 2 - 3 weeks for me.

Standard iMac may include i7, but not with 2Gb VRAM. It may sounds cheap and simple, but we can't replace GPU chip by our own, do we?

Thanks guys, my only fear with ordering online is the yellow tinting issue and having to exchange the devices.

It is much easier in person through the Apple Retail Store.

It only appears easier because you would be exchanging a purchased item for a stock item. The only real differences that I can think of between needing service or an exchange online/over the phone through Apple Care are 1) the person you're interacting with is not at arm's reach and 2) it will take a little longer because of shipping (which Apple pays for). Otherwise, the process is the same.
