Hello,
I have had my Imac for about a year and recently I got on the check my email and noticed that i didn't have a internet connection. no networks showed up. I tried restarting it and then noticed that there wasn't the airport icon on the top menu, so i went to the network settings and tried turning it on and saw " no wireless hardware installed. anyone have any clues?

also may be a fluke but my Iphone did the same thing earlier and i plugged in my phone to charge it and that's when it started acting up. could it be a virus?

thanks for the help.

Likely a hardware malfunction. You should probably take it to an apple store, and they can figure out the problem for you.

thats why your iMac came with warranty and you should have apple care too , so call apple and tell them your problem they will be happy to sort that out for you
