Okay guys, I have been waiting TOO long to get this 27" iMac that I have been drooling over since the second it came out!

So, this Christmas, I will be getting it for sure. HOORAY!

But.. it seems like one problem is coming after another with these new machines.
First it was the performance issue, well that was fixed, thankfully.
Now, I've been hearing from all over the place (even the Apple forums) that LOTS of people have been having screen problems.
From some yellow tinge, to dead pixels within just days of using that machine.

So, my questions is, if I do high-pathetically get one with some kind of a screen problem, would Apple actually replace the whole thing just because of one dead pixel?
I've heard that they replaced the ones that came in with some yellow tinge on then or whatever.
But yeah, I don't know, I really don't wanna get stuck with a dead pixel with this beautiful screen. Because nothing is more annoying than a dead pixel.
And you can't even push a stuck pixel in on Macs because of the glass.

anyway, thank you guys so much if you read this thread :)
Let me know what's up with this whole situation.

To be honest one dead pixel on something that size...hmmm, well i guess it depends on where it is. If it is in a focus area yeah, if in a corner does it really mater that much? My 27 had a dead pixel, did not care was in a area i would really really have to focus on to see, though i had to return it cause it would flicker like crazy :(

Not sure if apple will replace a machine with one dead pixel, though you can get a refund within 14 days so it does not mater. Ask for a refund and get another one.
