27" Thunderbolt display purchase timing

I'm considering getting a 27" Thunderbolt display to go with my 15" MBP.

I'm also planning on getting one of the new Mac Pro towers when the new model comes out early next year. I'm concerned that Apple may release a new display model early next year and I'm not sure whether I should wait or just go ahead with the existing Thunderbolt display. I'd appreciate some input.

The thunderbolt just starting shipping in september so a new one won't be coming out soon. Now the addition of a screen size is possible but their is no evidence to support that.

As noted, Apple just released the Thunderbolt Display so there is no chance they are going to change it for some time.

I also don't expect Apple to offer a different size (and if they did, it would be smaller than 27").
