I have an official Apple 29w charger and USB-C to Lightning Cable (2m) - can I use an iOS Cable (Female) to USB Type C (Male) charging adapter for the ipad pro Gen 3? Will it reduce/impact charging speed?

I bought this charger my old iPad Pro 12.9" Gen 2 to charge it faster than the in the box charger. I'm assuming the 29w will be faster charging than the included 18w plug with the Gen 3 ipad pro?

Not sure I'm a fan of adapters so could consider buying an Apple USB-C Charge Cable (2m) but would have to keep swapping out the cable to the charger when charging my iphone. 1st🌍problems.

Just use a USB-C cable, like what came with the new iPad Pro. I would not expect you’d get reliable or full speed charging through that adapter. I’d suggest putting the phone on the 18W charger as it won’t charge much faster using the 29W charger, and then you won’t have to mess with adapters.

I have an adapter like that and use it all the time. It works for me but since I usually charge overnight, I can't say anything about the speed. I use the same cable without the adapter for my phone and airpods.

Ipad will be supplied with only a 1 metre cable which is not enough to be practical hence why I want to use my 2 metre one.
