I've had an unlocked/jailbroken iphone 2G for over a year... ATT bought Cellular One in our area some time ago, and my bill now shows that I'm using an iphone (instead of the LG shine I used to use).

ATT sent a text today saying:
We need your help regarding your iPhone account. Your iPhone does not currently have the necessary data plan required for all iPhones. Please call us by Sept. 14. Just dial 611. We appreciate your business.

Our current plan with ATT includes:
3 phones on the 700 minute family talk plan, $30 unlimited texts, and the $15 data plan.

Is it possible to change to the $20 iphone plan w/200 texts, but still be included in the unlimited family text plan?

And if it's possible to do that, after I get switched to an official iphone plan, what do I do to the phone as far as the jailbreak goes? I never upgraded the phone to the newer software after I unlocked the phone 15 months ago... and I'd like to do that and not completely screw up the phone. LOL.

    thanks so much!
