my friend has 2g iPhone that is running perfectly has few scratches , 8gb , and all the accesories. what should he sell this for?

I just sold a 2g 16gb with a clean screen and a scuffed back with a small dent for 225 on Craigslist. I had 5 calls within a couple hours of posting it.

how did you manage that? thats pretty pricy for a first gen isnt it?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

First generation 16GB prestine condition, 10 mins after listing it on craigslits I get a buyer and sell it same day for $300.

I had a note saying I can jailbreak / unlock by request. The buyer I sold it to is using t-mobile so that's probably why...

I bought an 8gb in excellent condition with apple care until 10/09 on eBay for $170. However looks like that was a pretty good deal. Most of them seem to be going for around $200

Sold my 4GB 2G for $150 friday before last. The back was so beat up and sharp surprised TSA let me fly with it so many times.

For a 8GB 2G I say $200 minimum.

I would take no less than $175. There are plenty of people out there willing to pay that price.

Although, my brother just bought a 2G from a friend in good condition for $25. he got a steal of a deal. 😉
