2G Rolling screen

😕I just got my 2G unlocked today. Not sure why, but I cannot get the screen to roll to landscape when i turn it sideways. Two of my buddy's does it, but mine is not. Is there a setting to turn on or activate, or is it something in the program to crack the phone ? Thanks for any help.

I don't know of a setting. My guess that it would have something to do with the jailbreak software.

I can't get landscape mode on anything. (for the keyboard, pictures, etc).. Nothing at all. 🙁

my 3g did this yesterday. a quick restart solved the problem.

If you're walking while doing this... the screen won't flip. I've experienced that. Any other movement from the iPhone while you have it rotated will prevent it from actually rotating.

I've tried everything and nothing.. sitting still and still won't do it.
Also restarted and no luck. Just my luck.. 🙂

Restore, But you'll have to unlock again.
If it's still under warranty, you could take it back. but you will need to restore before-hand anyway so it won't be unlocked anymore.😉

HI. Sorry, I was wrong. My pictures are doing the rolling landscape, but that's all so far. So I guess it does work, but maybe still need to restore again ?? Thanks all.

There's only a few apps that use the rotation feature. A lot of apps use the regular keyboard.
