Ok so I have 3gb right now in my mbp 2.33 and I was wonding if my comp will run faster with 2 gig stick running the duel channel? or will it run better with 2 1 gig sticks.

Well I heard that the the set up with 1 stick of 1 gig and a stick of 2 gigs is not as fast as having 2 gigs.

    Ok thanks,

The point is that the 2.33 Core2Duo cannot use any more than 3.3 Gb, so the increase in the total RAM after installing the 2nd 2 Gb module is negligible. There will be a minor speed improvement (6% - 8%) due to regaining Dual Channel Access.
