Too much hassle. Gonna keep waiting for Newegg to drop those prices...

Are you serious? Even if you don't do the rebate, its $16. Newegg will never even come close to that. There is not going to be a better deal for this in the near future.

Granted the RAM is $15.99 without the rebate, don't forget Dell charges $4.99 for shipping as well as tax. I used a $25 off $25 coupon and the tax was brought down to $1.

Unless I'm misreading the link, isn't it $40 without any of the rebates? If it's really just $16, sure, I'd get a stick.

Yeah, I thought so. I can't be bothered to do the eBay thing for the coupon (not to mention the rebate thing). It does sound like a good deal if you're willing to go through the steps to get it.

The coupon can be had for $1.60 Buy-It-Now and the sender emails you the code promptly (took mine about 10 mins). I saw a listing that had 166 coupons, it was all gone in about 70 minutes.

Yes but the MB will only use 3.3GB.

Rebate is only good for "One per household". Needs to be postmarked within 12 days (including weekends) of purchase date so fill out that rebate form now and have an envelope stamped so you can mail out the rebate the day you get the RAM.

You could but you wouldn't get the usage of 4 GB of RAM.

Dell gives hundreds if not thousands of these to retailers around the world with short expiration times.
I don't know why, but they do. Little paper slips to give people for coming in the store or something like that.

I assume these are obtained via store employees or just plain sold by the employees or the guys who distribute the things in the first place.
