I know that the maximum capacity for these Powerbooks is 2gb. I just acquired one with 1gb installed, and when I checked my DDR-2 drawer could only manage to come up with a bunch of 512mb sticks and a single 2gb stick. Is there any chance of a single 2gb stick working in this computer and reading at full capacity? I know that in some MDDs, for example, one can install two 1gb sticks and they will work fine at full capacity. I'm hoping something similar will be the case with the DLSD. I'm really just trying to avoid buying RAM, although I will if I need to. And, of course, if no one knows the answer I'll just use the old standby of "try it and see."
