i upgraded from 2 to 4 but never notice the difference.
when i had 2 gb, i ran itune and played on wc3 it spiked like crazy and seen the same result with a 4 gb..so i was very disappointed
i got ocz rams any suggestions anyone?

When I went from 2GB to 4GB, I noticed a good deal of performance increase. However, from 4GB to 6GB, there was no difference.

It's not worth it, it sounds like you don't need it.

Please remember:
"A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist."

Which is exactly what this has amounted to.

But it's your money.

You're right about that. Still this was a good offer.
I keep thinking about upgrading when I don't actually need it at the moment.

Would that be because both Santa Rosa's and Penryn's only have a maximum RAM capacity of 4GB?

It's possible, or it could be that OSX already runs extremely well under 4GB and adding another 2GB means it just has more room but thats it. My processor still bottlenecks a few other stuff.
