2k imac screen replacement late 2012

The end of 2012 2k imac display panel broke I found a 5k retina screen but it doesn't fit can I plug in a converter or something from the supplier industry Can I find a panel from china very expensive computer garbage how do I solve this a1419 model computer

I imagine the GPU in your 2K iMac won’t support a higher resolution display. Best bet would be to find OEM parts.

Rotate the broken display to face the wall. Setting to turn it off (do not remove it from the iMac)
Use an external display. A 2k 27" 60Hz display might cost you about 200$~250$, sometime cheaper if you can find a second hand display.

or ditch the iMac after you can find some good deal on an iMac 2017 (400~500$)
