It is made in china. I would return immediately if it’s made in India. I don’t think I owned anything made in India.
My self & for my family, we bought four 16PM, all Made in India & not facing any issues, I will highly recommend to check Made in India on the box if buying from Apple store for piece of mind.

You cant just put every issue under the OCD label. This is more than a miniscule 0.001” gap
If the speaker wasn’t making any noise and then we could say that as a hard issue get it replaced, but something very minimal not affecting the performance of the phone that is typical in ocd being nit picky

Is this just early production problems? If so, if a person waited until January or February to buy a 16 series would these problems probably be resolved by then?
No. I’ve bought iPhones in January, four months after launch and other issues are noticeable. 14PM a friend purchased had a creaky front glass. Even with tempered glass screen removed. Twice as well.

I’ve got a launch day iPhone 16 Pro and it’s perfect. Uniform and bright display and speaker sounds good. Only thing I’ve noticed is that I’m getting a weird “pop” from the speaker when changing volumes. Only happens occasionally and I haven’t found a way to replicate it. Happens at random times.

Are the speakers loud?

Hello, I have changed it 3 times in total and this is my 4th phone. All of them had cosmetic defects. There is no cosmetic defect in this phone, but the battery drains very quickly and the sound is booming when sending messages on WhatsApp. I do not notice it while watching videos or talking on the phone. Has anyone encountered such a problem?(16pro battery production date is July)

On my fifth 16PM, the first four all had subpar displays (uniformity issues, off axis shift, red patches at low brightness, etc.). This one is near perfect, speakers are great, battery manufactured October 2024, made in China.

Just keep returning until you get the quality device you paid for. It’s a lottery as usual although this year it seems to be worse.
Is there a battery produced in October? I thought it was last produced in September.

Sorry to hear that, oh man. I would be upset if this happened to me.

I don't know if it's software or hardware, and if I want to change again, I don't know how to get a new phone. I'm undecided on what I should do.
I had an hardware defect with my display on my iPhone XR. Display was changed 2 times. Then it ended with a refurbished device they sent me. I believe you 100 💯 percent. These companies don’t stand behind their products.

Yup, and they mostly all have an inferior display to the launch units. The new batches seem to have extreme blue shift on the displays upon tilting the phone at any angle. Pretty hideous. Apple dropped the ball with their display suppliers.
Definitely not all of them have this and I actually exchanged until I got one that didn't.

Hi all, I’m back after my ban.

I just got my THIRD replacement iPhone 16 pro max. Manufactured battery date October 2024, and the Bluetooth still disconnects my AirPods or creative pebble pro on multiple occasions.

Will be returning again.

With regards to Bluetooth , there were a lot of users facing CarPlay connectivity issues, cannot connect to Bluetooth devices etc or easily disconnected at short distance.

I believe the Bluetooth module is defective, at least for q4 2024’s manufacturing batch . I certainly hope there won’t be a recall program for this mater just like the 14 plus lol

Looks normal. Image is sometimes to sharp. My 11 pro was better in quality. Even a screen replacement from AAA grade third party is better in my 11 pro as compared to the original one in 11 pro.

My October build 16 pro max I just got is dropping connection to my AirPod pro 2s too. I thought it was a random fluke but if you are also having issues..

This 16PM I have doesn’t have the touch sensitivity issues my previous one had though which is nice.

Precisely. AirPods Pro 2 here with no issues on my old 15 plus. After changing to 16pm (my third one) I get dropping connection while watching YouTube or listening to Spotify, daily. As well as disconnection from creative pebble pro via Bluetooth.

I will be replacing this phone every 14 days until this problem is resolved. What about you?

(Attached below is my October manufactured phone, to show that I’m not lying )

You people getting too many replacements on a single device you guys could get banned from the Apple Store from getting another replacement youknow, right?

Someone told me this when I had the iPhone X they have your name right down on the wall with a photo

These replacement iPhone are most likely remanufactured aka “refurbished” aka “ used or returned iPhone. That’s what apple 🍎 did to me , I purchased a new defective iPhone and it ended with a refurbished iPhone. It’s really unfortunate.

My iPhone XR had a defective display. After apple repaired it twice, the issue was still there. So, at the end of it , they sent me a refurbished phone.
