2nd display not detected.

im using a macbook and a 19" lcd monitor

Any quick fixes?

i've unplugged the cables and put them in again.
restarted the macbook
the 2nd display doesnt seem to detect..

it was working the night before... i detached it at night..

Have you tried using the monitor on another computer to make sure it didn't die on you?

Try:

Sys Prefs --> Displays --> "Detect Displays"
