iPod touch 2nd Generation iPod touch?

I have the 1st generation iPod touch and I want to know if I should get the 2nd generation. Is it worth getting or should I just stick with my old one?

Do you need Nike+? A tinny speaker? External volume controls?

If so, get. If not, don't.

if i were you then i would just keep the one you have because most likely an even newer better one it coming out in a year. besides the new one one has a few different things. physical volume control, external speaker, mic support, and nike+ support.

Thanks for your help. I got anyway! I have to admit, it's a lot better than the 1st gen. The battery lasts forever. The speaker is not as good as my brothers iPhone 3G but it's still very nice to have. I can completly tell that it does have a faster processor.
